Gent was created as a Senior capstone project by Aaron Haller, a Graphic Design major at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The goal of the project was to delve into what it means to be a modern man by showcasing the different ways men behave in social settings. Aaron created Gent because of his personal connection to the subject, expanding on the observations he's made throughout his childhood.
Gent was created as a method of therapy for the modern man—a reminder that vulnerability, showcasing emotion, and being yourself are all good things to exercise. Gent encourages men of all ages to strive to be better—to yourself and to those around you. Take the initiative to call out toxic behavior, inspire them to reconsider their actions, and pay no attention to those who attempt to bring you down for being you, because at the end of the day you'll be the better man for it.
